It is above all space and silence, elegance and refinement, personalized attention and service for absolute comfort, an intimate residence where every place has its own charm and atmosphere. The lines of the décor are pure, with a combination of different materials and subdued colors, sublimated by the decorative objects found in the four corners of the world, part of the owners’ private collection.
The fundamental idea of the project is the creation of an artistic panorama over the existing landscape. On the second floor is the master suite, surrounded by a carefully designed landscape. Here guests can let their hair down, enjoying the stunning beauty of the roof garden while simultaneously embracing three different Moroccan landscapes: the olive grove below, the surrounding desert, and, in the distance, the peaks of the Atlas Mountains. The building rises out of the ground like a monolith, creating an artistic landscape above the existing nature and offering an intimate and private life but at the same time opening up to its surroundings. The daily life of the house is in constant relationship with the land and existing nature, like an oasis. The massive travertine walls create a sheltered space, protecting from the climate while generating a special atmosphere of soft light, as in traditional Moroccan buildings.
The main living room has high ceilings and is surrounded on each side by large windows that overlook a landscaped garden, two large terraces, and a swimming pool that accentuates the living room’s volumes and natural light. The spaces are decorated with various materials and emphasize comfort and elegance. The dining areas consist of magnificent solid wood tables for the indoor one and timelessly designed marble tables for the outdoor one. These are complemented by numerous decorative elements, such as wooden wall decorations on the travertine walls, carpets that add a touch of warmth, and lounges with light-colored upholstery and unique brass chandeliers and lamps made by the best Moroccan craftsmen. In addition, the fireplace provides a cozy atmosphere in winter.
